Why Is This Important?
Disposable income is one of the most-used economic inidcators of living standard and economic well-being for a community. It is important that Olathe continues to empower its residents to build wealth locally, and help drive our economy internally.
Disposable income is defined as income that can be spent by residents without drawing on their assets. Using ESRI information, the disposable income in Olathe will be benchmarked to the Johnson County and Kansas City Region to establish the health of income of our residents.
