Why Is This Important?
Urban and suburban development will play a fundamental role in defining the quality of life of most human beings in the coming years. A key element of this will be the ability of cities to provide security for their residents, businesses and visitors.
Measure Description
The Public Safety Index serves the purpose in having an overarching view of how satisfied our citizens are with our Public Safety Departments. The Index consists of 13 separate DirectionFinder Survey measures grading Police, Fire, and EMS service, quality, and professionalism.
