Why Is This Important?
In helping to create and promote Olathe as a regional and national destination, Olathe will monitor its Retail Pull Factor.  The Retail Pull Factor measures the relative strength of Olathe's ability to attract retail shoppers. It is a quantitative measure of how the retail trade sector of a community is performing, put into an easily interpretable number.
Measure Description
The Retail Pull Factor is a commonly used economic measure that shows the relative strength and ability of a city to attract retail shoppers. The measure can be found through the Kansas Department of Revenue, where it is reported annually.
