Number of Stormwater Flood Control Projects Completed

Measure Description/Definition

The Johnson County Stormwater Management Advisory Council (SMAC) program provided funding for this project as part of a county-wide effort, to complete flood control projects identified in watershed studies. These projects will remove homes from the floodplain and reduce over topping of roads during flood events.

Target Determination

Annual target based on available funding.

Analysis

In FY 2020, the City completed two flood control projects: Little Cedar Creek (W. Park to W. Elm) and Stevenson Street (Grace Ter. to Oak).
